Change is good, but some things never change
I spent the day today on a stage that was over 100’ x 90’ riding around in a scissor lift placing tracking markers on a green screen. It reminded me way too much of riding around on the forks of the forklift at WCET in the big studio (60’ x 90’ as I recall). I have been doing this a long time… but it sure does beat having a real job.
Administration is using their normal playbook in dealing with McClellan book… first try and discredit him and distance yourself with an army of talking heads saying the same things. A few weeks ago a friend we go to Jazz Fest with every year called on the week of the fest we did not go to and said simply “Sirius 31 - Buffett live from Jazz Fest”. I was at work and was able to use my internet option on Sirius to listen and I called Jenn and she switched the receiver at home. Shared experience. Anyone could play - you can get an internet only Sirius subscription...

Let’s review the finale show from a different perspective… manipulation. American Idol is one of the highest rated shows on television and they make a fortune from the ads on the show… and stretch it out to an unwatchable length.
